Naza.r.e.2340

Established in 2007 as an all female student and mentor team of FIRST Robotics Finger Lakes Region, New York State, the team consists of Nazareth Academy students and adult mentors (teachers of Nazareth Academy and employees of Xerox Corporation). We were the only Rookie team to compete in the Pre-Games, taking away the Rookie Award at the 2007 RaChaCha Ruckus. In March ‘08, we received the Rookie All Star Award in the Finger Lakes Regional, and we were given the Highest Rookie Seed Award in the Galileo Division at the National Championship in Atlanta, Georgia!

NAZareX gets its name by incorporating the NAZ from Nazareth Academy, ’a.r.e.’ for our mission of ’Acquiring Real Experience’ and X in appreciation for our sponsor, Xerox.

Hot Off the Press!

NAZareX received the Highest Rookie Seed Award in the Galileo Division and ranked #3 out of 86 teams!
